Trim Levels (Exterior)

The Corolla sedan comes in six different trim levels. These start with the L which has 15-inch steel wheels and LED headlights, while the LE adds heated side mirrors and 16-inch steel wheels. Choose the LE Eco for some aerodynamic exterior features, 15-inch wheels, and a more fuel-efficient suspension tuning. Step up to the XLE for 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, an upgraded headlight design, and a sunroof. For a sportier look, the SE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a sleeker look for the front end, and a rear spoiler. The XSE is the top level trim. It starts with the SE features and adds some interior upgrades.

Engine (Power)

All the Corolla models except the LE Eco have a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain works with a CVT or a six-speed manual and both come with front-wheel drive. The LE Eco is the only Corolla with a different powertrain. It has a more fuel-efficient version of the four-cylinder engine that gets 140 horsepower.

Performance

The Corolla's engine gives it plenty of power for confident daily driving. The suspension tuning keeps the ride comfortable and works to smooth out road imperfections. A responsive steering system and solid brakes provide the driver with confidence whether heading down the highway or exploring back roads with lots of twists and turns.

Interior

Passengers will enjoy the roomy interior of the Corolla, which has more space than other vehicles in this class. In the back, you'll find 13 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat. The well-equipped cabin has cloth seats in the lower trims. Starting with the XLE trim, the Corolla comes with Toyota's SofTex simulated leather upholstery. The XLE also adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver's seat. Choose the SE or XSE for paddle shifters to go with the CVT. Technology starts with a 6.1-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, the Entune infotainment system, SIri Eyes free, and a USB port in the L, with a 7-inch touch screen added to the XLE and above. The higher-end models also get the Scout GPS Link navigation app, satellite radio, and HD radio. Toyota offers an integrated navigation system for the XLE and XSE, along with the Entune App Suite.

Safety Features

All the Corolla sedan models come standard with a rearview camera and the Safety Sense P suite. This includes lane departure alerts with a steering assist system, a pre-collision system with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.
