Toyoguard Platinum | Mark Jacobson Toyota

Toyoguard Platinum is an optional protection plan offered through Southeast Toyota Distributors that picks up where ToyotaCare leaves off. It's not a Toyota factory program — it's an accessory plan available through your Toyota dealer that covers exterior paint, interior fabric, 12-volt battery protection, tire rotations, roadside assistance, and rental car assistance for a set number of years or miles after your ToyotaCare coverage runs out.

Toyoguard Platinum is available in two versions depending on your vehicle. The core benefits are similar, but a few details differ based on how each vehicle type is maintained.

Toyoguard Platinum for Gas (ICE) Vehicles

Oil Changes

Two synthetic oil changes, including filter changes, within 5 years or 60,000 miles of original purchase.6

Tire Rotations

Four tire rotations within 5 years or 60,000 miles (all models except Supra).7

Roadside Assistance

Jump starts, tire service, fuel delivery, lockouts, and limited winching and towing, available 24/7.8

12-Volt Battery Protectant

A silicone-based coating on battery terminals that helps prevent corrosion and extends battery life.5

Rental Car Assistance

Up to a one-day rental per qualifying repair, for up to 5 occurrences within 5 years or 60,000 miles.9

Exterior Paint Protectant

A ceramic barrier that helps shield paint from environmental damage for 3 years or 36,000 miles.3

Interior Protectant

A nontoxic, phosphate-free treatment that helps protect fabric seats and carpet from stains for 3 years or 36,000 miles.4

Toyoguard Platinum for Battery Electric (BEV) Vehicles

Because BEVs don't need oil changes, Toyoguard Platinum for BEVs replaces that benefit with something gas vehicles don't get: an extended warranty on the 12-volt accessory battery itself.

12-Volt Battery Warranty

Protectant coating plus a 2-year/24,000-mile extended warranty on the 12-volt battery once the manufacturer's warranty ends — up to 5 years/60,000 miles combined.5

Tire Rotations

Four tire rotations within 5 years or 60,000 miles.6

Roadside Assistance (Out-of-Charge)

Mobile fastcharge at the disablement site, towing to the nearest charging station, or towing if the battery won't accept a charge.7

Rental Car Assistance

Same terms as ICE — up to a one-day rental per qualifying repair, up to 5 occurrences within 5 years or 60,000 miles.8

Exterior Paint Protectant

Same terms as ICE — 3 years or 36,000 miles.3

Toyoguard Platinum vs. ToyotaCare Plus: What's the Difference?

ToyotaCare Plus is a Toyota-backed program. Toyoguard Platinum is a separate accessory plan offered through Southeast Toyota Distributors, and it's designed to extend coverage after your ToyotaCare benefits are used up, not replace them. Toyoguard Platinum picks up in the areas ToyotaCare doesn't reach long-term, like extended 12-volt battery protection, exterior and interior protectant coverage, and continued roadside and rental assistance.

Does Toyoguard Platinum transfer if I sell my car?

Yes. Any unused Toyoguard Platinum benefits automatically transfer to the next owner of the vehicle.

What's the difference between Toyoguard Platinum and ToyotaCare?

  7. TOYOGUARD Tire Rotations In addition to the ToyotaCare® scheduled maintenance, you will receive 4 tire rotations (except Supra). Must be redeemed within 5 years or 60,000 miles of original purchase, whichever first occurs.

TOYOGUARD Roadside Assistance provides jump starts, tire service, fuel delivery, lockouts, limited winching and towing, all available 24 hours a day, any day, anywhere in the continental U.S. and Canada by calling 1-800-528-2054. Plan is 5 years or 60,000 miles whichever first occurs. Roadside Assistance does not include parts & fluids. Winching is limited to 100 feet from maintained roadway. Towing: we will tow your covered vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealership from your disablement site or an additional 25 miles to your preferred Toyota dealership. Fuel Delivery: we will inspect vehicle and if needed will provide up to 3 gallons of fuel. Lockout does not include key replacement.
