There are two engines available with the 2023 RAV4. This SUV will come standard with a 203-horsepower 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that comes with three drive modes:
- Sport
- ECO
- Normal
There’s also an available hybrid powertrain comprised of a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor. Together, this eco-conscious powertrain delivers an impressive 219 horsepower.
When properly equipped, the RAV4 has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. The RAV4 also comes with an available automatic transmission fluid cooler to ensure your transmission is up to the task of towing serious loads.
The 2023 Toyota RAV4 is also efficient, achieving an EPA-estimated 27 city/35 highway MPG on its base trim.* The hybrid trims offer even higher fuel-economy ratings. For instance, the RAV4 LE Hybrid can get up to an EPA-estimated 41 city/38 highway MPG.*
