The 2022 Toyota Sienna
More than enough.
Fresh off the introduction of the fourth-generation, hybrid-only Sienna in 2022, one of the most fuel-efficient 7-8 passenger minivans on the market, Toyota is upping the van's outdoors active capability. For 2022, the new Sienna Woodland Special Edition will combine adventure-inspired rugged styling, a standard Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive System and increased ground clearance for taking the fun further.
In addition to the new Woodland Edition, the 2022 Sienna line adds a few updates for its sophomore year. The XLE grade now gets the optional 18-wheel design, second row ottomans are available for the Limited and Platinum grades with all-wheel drive, Windchill Pearl replaces Blizzard Pearl as the premium coloring offers; and the Woodland Edition is available in the Cement exterior color (exclusive to the Woodland Edition) as well as Midnight Black Metallic.
In addition to the Woodland Edition, the 2022 Sienna is offered in LE, XLE, sporty XSE, luxurious Limited and ultra-plush Platinum trims. In the Toyota tradition, the 2022 Sienna comes well equipped in the LE grade and adds more amenities and tech in the higher grades. Options are conveniently grouped in the LE Plus, XLE Plus and XSE Plus packages. The 2022 Sienna offers many premium features across the model line (depending on the grade), such as kick-open and closed sliding side doors and rear gate, four-zone climate control system, heated second-row Super-Long Slide captains's chairs with ottomans, power tilt and telescoping steering column with heated steering wheel, a digital rear-view mirror, 10-in. color head-up display and 12-speaker JBL Premium Audio System.
With a standard hybrid powertrain boasting a class-leading manufacturer-estimated 33 combined MPG, the 2022 Sienna gives incredible efficiency for all destinations. Add to that a bold design with more versatility, and the result is a minivan that raises the bar across the board.

When it comes to performance, the 2022 Sienna shines in several areas. The Toyota Hybrid System II provides 243 total horsepower and a manufacturer-estimated 33 combined MPG. Two electric motors work with the high-efficiency 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine to provide excellent low-speed torque and smooth, quiet acceleration. Selectable EV, NORMAL, ECO and SPORT driving modes allow the driver more control over their experience. Throw in a tow rating of up to 3,500 pounds and available all-wheel drive, and you can be confident that you will arrive at your destination comfortably and efficiently.
As always, safety is at the heart of Toyota, and the 2022 Sienna is no different. It comes equipped with 10 airbags: driver and front passenger, driver’s knee, passenger seat cushion, front seat side, rear outboard seat side, plus curtain side airbags for all three rows. Toyota’s Star Safety System includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRAC), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Smart Stop Technology (SST). In addition, the 2021 Sienna comes standard with second-generation Toyota Safety Sense (TSS 2.0), a comprehensive active safety system that includes:
